  • I was shocked to my bone marrow, when I read
the story of 1st ever car bond in Warri, Delta State,
South South Nigeria. My God, what a sad development.
Where amnesty implementions that touches every
niger deltans are been discussed! Where are we
heading to after so much have been done. I read it all
here Explosions hit amnesty talks in Nigeria's oil delta

"WARRI, Nigeria (Reuters) - Nigerian militants detonated
at least two car bombs outside a government building
in the southern oil city of Warri on Monday where talks
were being held about implementing an amnesty
programme. The attacks, claimed by the Movement for
the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) militant group,
are a major setback for Acting President Goodluck Jonathan
as his government also tries to calm ethnic tensions in
the centre of the country". Full story at http://af.reuters.com/article/topNews/idAFJOE62E0DY20100315

I guess this is never the right time for this issue
to reach this level in Niger Delta, when one of their
is occupying highest post in the country. What are
these people upto. What actually do MEND want?
